Nicky Hoberman (b. 1967 in Cape Town. Lives and works in London).

She has a MA in Modern History from Worcester College, Oxford University; a BFA from Parsons School of Design in Paris; and a MA in painting from Chelsea College of Art in London. Her work has been exhibited at the Tokushima Modern Art Museum, Osaka (2022); Museo de Belem, Lisbon (2015); Fondazione Maramotti, Reggio Emilia (2012 and 2007); Gould Galleries, Melbourne (2010); Museo Michetti, Francavilla al Mare 2000); Magasin 3 Konsthall, Stockholm (1998); Whitechapel Gallery, London (1998); Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago (1997); Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney (1997);Camden Arts Centre and Tate Liverpool (1996). Her work is in institutional collections, including: Collezione Maramotti, Reggio Emilia , Museu Colecção Berardo, Lisbon; The New Art Gallery, Walsall (UK); The National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne; Sammlung Olbricht, Essen (Germany); Scheringa Museum, Netherlands; The Nigel Moores Charitable Foundation, Liverpool and The Hunterdon Art Museum, New Jersey.
